Sometime between the hours of 5:00 p.m. on April 3rd and 8:30 a.m. on April 4th, 2013 an unknown suspect or suspects burglarized a business in the South Glenwood Springs area.

The suspect(s) stole two loaded firearms and caused approximately $150.00 in damage to the business.

Glenwood Springs Police Department

The Glenwood Springs Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Garfield County are searching for any information related to the following:

Sometime between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on March 15th, an unknown suspect or suspects burglarized a residence in the south end of  Glenwood Springs.

The suspect(s) stole approximately eight bottles of wine, 52” Mitsubishi flat screen TV, Wii gaming system and two controllers, Apple iMac desktop computer with wireless mouse and keyboard, white Mac Book laptop with case, PC monitor, electric teapot, exercise heart monitor, Down comforter, two jewelry boxes with approximately $1,500 of jewelry, approximately $300 in coins, $400 cash, U.S. passport, Navy commendation medal, military issued .45 caliber ammo, digital camera, two electric hair clippers, and an iPod with speakers and charging dock.

The suspects caused approximately $150 in damage to the residence and stole an estimated total value of $6,200.

Burglary/Theft
New Castle Police Department

The New Castle Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Garfield County are searching for any information related to the following:

Between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26th, an unknown person or persons burglarized a residence on Buckhorn Drive in the Town of New Castle. The suspects stole a 40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, two laptop computers, a surround sound theater system and speakers including a bass speaker, a Playstation 3 gaming system with several shooter type games, a flat screen TV and a fireproof safe.

Sometime during the evening of January 24th and the early morning hours of January 25th, an unknown suspect or suspects caused approximately $6,000 in damage to vehicles in the Parachute area. The vandals slashed the tires of 46 vehicles.

Sometime during the month of January, an unknown suspect or suspects burglarized a storage unit in the Town of Parachute. The suspect(s) stole approximately 30 tools, including; die grinders, angle grinders, drills, saws, sanders, and an air compressor.

The estimated value of the tools is $3,800.

Wanted Person # 1

Crime Stoppers of Garfield County and the Garfield County Sheriff's Office are looking for any information on the whereabouts of Anthony "Speedy" Villegas, who has an active nationwide felony warrant for his arrest out of Garfield County for Sexual Assault on a Child. Investigators need your help locating Villegas. It is possible that Villegas may be trying to leave the country to evade arrest.

Investigators want Villegas in custody to prevent any further victimization. Villegas is known to be in the Glenwood Springs and New Castle areas, and he is specifically known to frequent the Glenwood Springs Mall.

Villegas is a 24 year old male described as being approximately 5'10" tall, weighing approxiamtely 160 lbs., with a slender build, having black hair and brown eyes. Villegas has multiple tattoos, not limited to, but including the following: "PRIDE" tattood on his left arm, three dots tattood on his left hand, "A" tattood on his right hand and right leg, "Brown" tattood on his right arm, and "V" tattood on his left leg.
